The Dalstrong Gladiator 9.5” Menkiri achieves this perfect slice by combining a screamingly sharp blade that extends along the length of the handle and sits completely flat against the cutting board. 

The unique blade shape gives the user extreme control and precision, with the hand directly above the center of the blade. Although this knife is designed for cutting noodles and typically marketed to pasta makers, it’s also useful for bakers slicing pastry, or for creating paper thin slices or julienne slivers of vegetables. The narrow blade section under the handle provides reduced friction and extends the blade length, while the square front of the blade offers a good surface for transferring foods with ease. 

The blade is forged from high carbon, high chromium German X50CR15MOV steel, rated at 56+ Rockwell hardness and sharpened to 16-18° per side. Featuring a beautiful, ergonomic and ambidextrous black, G10 Garolite handle, highly impervious to heat, cold and moisture, the Gladiator Series Menkiri is thoughtfully designed for maximum control and effectiveness.
